DNS within the AccountCenter

Most DV customers will want to manage their DNS within the AccountCenter for all of their domains. This means that you must have your domain registrar direct the name servers to NS1.MEDIATEMPLE.NET and NS2.MEDIATEMPLE.NET. If you have registered your domain with (mt) Media Temple, we already have these name servers set for you.

For information on how to edit and manage the DNS of a domain you are hosting on your DV & (dpv) via your AccountCenter, please read this article.

This means you can use name servers such as and Please be aware however, that you will be responsible for managing the DNS for your name servers, therefore (mt) Media Temple will be unable to provide full DNS support. If you are interested in using private name servers, you may find more information here.
