Overview

Every (mt) Media Temple hosting service has an IP address associated with it. This article will show you how to locate your IP address for your server.

Instructions

1. Log into your Media Temple account.
2. Select the blue ADMIN button associated to your VPS server.
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. Your IP address will be located in the Server section.

Instructions

1. Log into your Media Temple Account.
2. Select the ADMIN button associated with your Managed Wordpress server.
3. Located your desired site and select Overview
4. Select the Settings tab.
   
5. Select Show more.
   
6. Scroll down until you find IP address.
   

The following will require that you have added your domain has been added to your Managed WordPress server.

1. Log into your Media Temple account.
2. Click on the ADMIN button associated with your Shared Hosting server.
   
3. Hover your cursor over the desired site slot, then click Manage.
   
4. In the left-menu, click Domains.
   
5. Click Manage next to your domain.
   
6. Click Edit DNS Zone File.
   
7. You should see the A-record auto generated by the Account Center which will contain your server IP address.

2. Click the ADMIN button associated with your Shared Hosting server.
   
3. In the Dashboard, under Settings, click Server.
4. Your IP address will appear in the list of settings.

Web IP address

1. Log into your (mt) Media Temple Account Center.
2. Click on the Admin button associated to your Grid Server.
   
3. While in your Grid control panel, click on Server Guide.
   
4. Click on DNS INFORMATION. Your web server IP will be located on this page.
   
   For information on email server IP, please continue down this guide.
   

Email IP address

1. While on your Server Guide page, click on EMAIL SETUP.
   
   Here you will find your incoming/outgoing server which you can input to mail clients such as: Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, etc.
   
2. If you require the IP address for DNS purposes, you can run a dig command on the access domain using terminal or a website such as https://dnschecker.org/

2. Click on the blue ADMIN button associated to your server.
   
3. Click View your Guide.
   
4. Scroll down until you reach the DNS section. There you will be able to locate your server IP address(es).
