This article shows you how to use Media Temple's email configuration tool to set up your email client. It works by generating a configuration file that's specific to your email address and client. This allows you to avoid manually entering the server settings. You will still need the associated email account's username and password.
This tool will only work for email accounts that are hosted by Media Temple. At the very least, this means that your domain's MX records must be pointed to Media Temple's servers. If you haven't done so already, this article will help you create an email account.

Once you're there, you should see a prompt for your email address. Enter the email address that you would like to configure your client to use and select go.
2. You'll be prompted to select your email program. This will generate a file that's specific to your email client.
3. Once you've selected your client, you'll be given instructions on how to proceed. This includes a configuration file that you'll need to download.
