Download your website
Log into your old host and download all the files for your domain to your local computer. The most popular way to do this is through FTP. You will want to follow the appropriate FTP instructions of your old host to connect and download your website.
Database
If you are moving a site that has a database, you will need to make sure we move that database as well. phpMyAdmin and command line are popular methods to export a database. As with FTP, you will want to follow the appropriate instructions of your old host.
Upload your website
Once you've gotten a copy of your website, you can now connect to your Shared Hosting server through FTP and can upload the copy of your website to the /public_html folder. For information on how to connect to your server through FTP, feel free to review the following:
Database
You will additionally want to upload your database. Upload can be done using phpMyAdmin or command line. For more information, see:
Previewing Your Website
