Overview

Addon domains allow you to control multiple domains from a single cPanel account. For Shared Hosting users, this is how you would host additional domains to your server. The following will provide the steps and instructions on how you can use the addon domain feature.

Instructions

  1. Log into your cPanel login. cPanel login. cPanel login.
  2. Click on Addon Domains.

  3. Input your domain mt-website.com.
    • The subdomain and document root should auto-generate, however you can customize these if you wish.

  4. If you wish you can create an FTP user to be associated with this addon domain.
    • If you wish to skip this step for now, you can create an FTP user at a later time.

  5. When you are done, click Add Domain.
  6. You will want to take note of the Document Root, as that is where you will want to upload your website file.
